How can I help you achieve your health and fitness goals?

From P90X to 80 Day Obsession, my husband and I had both gotten great results with Beachbody programs in the past.

With the health esteem focus of the new BODi, the programs are shorter, sleeker, simpler and more achievable than ever.

As an endurance athlete, nutrition and fueling are super important to me. I am focused on more real foods and less artificial and processed foods. No more extreme deprivation programs. We're talking simple, sustainable eating for your health for a lifetime.


How did I get here?

I started this journey more than 20 years ago. The fall before I turned 30, I lost 30 pounds in 3 months using nutrition alone. After my 30th birthday, I started working out. That month, I gained back 5 pounds, but lost 2 sizes.

As you can see from my video drawer, I got completely addicted. I'd finish one program hungry for the next.

As a girl, I have never been comfortable lifting weights in a gym. Working out at home was more accessible for me, not to mention the time savings. This was all before I was able to work from home full time, so that travel time to and from the gym was precious.

It hasn't been a linear journey. There have been ups and downs, and as my body and metabolism change (thanks Peri-Menopause), I find I need to make some shifts.

I took up endurance racing and I got FIT for my first half ironman, but by the 3rd, even though I finished with a 9 minute personal best time, I had lost my muscle definition. 

I never liked lifting weights, I just liked the results. Not only do I love it now, I realize that it is one of the top 3 most critical strategies for women in perimenopause. Not just for weight loss and improved body composition, but for increased muscle tone and bone strength.
Not to mention, I'm finally regaining strength and range of motion in my frozen shoulder after a year and a half.

More than the lifting program I'm following, more than the beautiful simplicity of the nutrition plan that I'm living, I'm in love with and SO EXCITED to be a part of the amazing community I've been invited to.
Being around a group of positive, high energy, results driven women who lift each other up and hold each other accountable is MONEY!

I deeply believe in healthy, sustainable, solutions. I feel a huge calling to pay this forward to as many people as I can.

I was never good at sticking to a "diet" plan or working out regularly.  I'd be all gung-ho for about a month and sometimes as little as a week.  Then, I'd lose interest and motivation and I'd give up.  I had gained 40 pounds since having gastric bypass surgery in 2003.  I'm getting older, more out of shape and, I hate to say, arthritis is kicking in.  

     A little over a year ago a family member encouraged me to join BODi (Beachbody at that time).  Along with that I was invited to join a Facebook group, the No Judgement Journey. 

     It turns out, that was the combo I needed.  I get tons of workouts on BODi.  The variety keeps me interested and coming back for more.  The Portion Fix meal plan just works for me.  The BODi app is a must for me at keeping track of my workouts and my food intake.  It makes things much easier.  I think the best part of my success is my No Judgment Journey (NJJ) family.  I see everyone else's success. That helps me stay motivated and gives me the accountability I need.  Posting my goals, reaching those goals or posting the hiccups that inevitably happen at times.  It's great getting tips, tricks, recipes, suggestions and encouragement from the group.

     Since joining BODi and NJJ in October 2022, I've successfully lost and kept off 40 pounds.  I feel healthier, stronger and have more energy than I've had in years.  Also, I am much more conscious of my food choices.  Getting away from all the prepackaged food, fast food and even the cooking oil I use has really made a difference.

     I have to thank my coach and sister-in-law Shannon for that nudge in the right direction.  I'm staying with BODi/NJJ.  It works!
